Development of rapid prototyping methods to facilitate the implementation of a circular economy (GINOP_PLUSZ-2.1.1-21-2022-00120)
Project ID: GINOP_PLUSZ-2.1.1-21-2022-00120
Project description:
The aim of the project is to develop and manufacture LED lighting fixtures that meet to the new trends in lighting technology and the challenges of our time. The lighting products developed within the framework of the project, which can be integrated into the circular economy, will provide customized forecasts of the lifecycle of individual components. This accurate lifespan prediction model is being developed by the Light and Color Science Research Laboratory at the Faculty of Information Technology in the University of Pannonia. Hofeka Ltd. will implement in-house rapid testing tool development at the level of the entire lighting fixture, which will be used for design, simulation, and laboratory testing. Locations of the project: in Nagytarcsa and in Veszprém. The technical and engineering workstations are located in the modern two-story hall of Hofeka Ltd. The technical department is equipped with advanced lighting and electrical laboratories, as well as an IP tester.
The intermediate results of the project will be reflected in the design and implementation of public and decorative lighting, as well as underpass and hall lighting, serving the livable and sustainable future of society as a whole. The knowledge and innovative capability acquired during the project can be applied to other LED-based lighting solutions and can also be utilized in university education and training of professionals.
