Dear Inquirer!

The primary task of the Directorate for Development and Projects is to support the full lifecycle of university developments and projects, from monitoring funding opportunities through implementation to the maintenance period. In this context, it continuously monitors calls for proposals, prepares strategically important applications, and coordinates the proposal-related activities of the faculties and central organizational units of the university. It maintains records of submitted proposals and ongoing projects and actively participates in the implementation of strategic projects in cooperation with the relevant organizational units.

A key responsibility of the Directorate is maintaining relationships with funding bodies, intermediary organizations, and both domestic and international innovation partners. It ensures post-project follow-up and supervises the maintenance period, while also contributing to the preparation and execution of official audits. In addition, it supports procurement activities related to projects, with a strong emphasis on continuous risk analysis and management, as well as on providing professional support for organizational development processes.

The Directorate is responsible for identifying, recording, and protecting intellectual property created within the university and, in cooperation with the Knowledge and Technology Transfer organization (TTC), promotes its utilization. It participates in contract management and record-keeping related to R&D&I activities, reviews cooperation agreements, and provides administrative support for university committees. The Directorate also oversees the activities of staff involved in these tasks and ensures the efficient and coordinated operation of the organization across the entire university structure.
