Project description:

The aim of the project is to investigate, analyse and develop intervention and action points promoting the principles of the circular economy for certain types of waste (biological fraction, electrical and electronic waste, battery waste, certain plastic waste) and with the help of the results to implement a complex pilot project on the campus of the University of Pannonia in Veszprém.

The main objective is to establish a comprehensive bio-waste concept, which includes preparing for the mandatory separate collection of household bio-waste from 31 December 2023, using international best practices, proposing a treatment of the collected bio-waste and promoting the agricultural usability of the resulting useful material.
