Development of a modularly deployable production system based on mobilised collaborative robots and implementing quality management functions with an Industry 4.0 approach (2019-1.1.1-PIACI-KFI-2019-00312)
Project ID: 2019-1.1.1-PIACI-KFI-2019-00312
Project description:
During the project, a new generation of products will be established, which will be marketed by Vesz-Mont '2000 Ltd., incorporating the knowledge of the University of Pannonia researchers. The aim is to create autonomous plant modules that aim at the highest level of automation and, when operating in an ecosystem, can even be organised into a fully autonomous plant.
The project will create a near-autonomous production line, using automatically controlled machining stations. The logistics system connecting the stations will be built using and improving the latest developments (AGV, collaborative robot, etc.) and a near-autonomous quality control station will be created. The control of the line will be exercised by a specialised MES system to be created in the project. The specificity of its design is that the production tasks received from the ERP systems will be queued by algorithm modules to be created by the university's specialists, optimising the production, thus allowing the design of the lowest cost production plan. As an example, part of the Vesz-Mont cutting plant will be converted into an autonomous plant.
