Project description:

HSUP is Hungary's first higher education-level startup programme, the main aim of which is to introduce Hungarian students to the world of innovation, modern entrepreneurship and startup operations through a new e-learning platform developed in-house and common to all universities. HSUP is a two-semester e-learning course, the first semester of which focuses on innovative thinking and the startup world, while the second semester provides students with practical knowledge on how to build an innovative business. At the end of the first semester, in addition to the exam, students will prepare a one-pager on their business idea, which they can work on during the second semester, at the suggestion of their university and with the support of a grant from the NRDIH to the university. In the spring semester, 41 students took the course, of which 20 joined a team. The present project aims to select the winning entrepreneurial ideas, develop the ideas, support the progress of the student teams and implement the scholarship support component of the programme at the University of Pannonia. Within the framework of the project, the University will ensure, to the extent possible, that the support provided by the NRDI will be used in accordance with the objectives of the Hungarian Startup University Programme.
