"The aim of the Cooperative Doctoral Programme is to further expand the number of employees in the field of research, development and innovation - primarily in the fields of STEM (mathematics, science, technology and information technology) - who wish to enrich their professional knowledge with the latest scientific research results and are committed to the social and economic use of their knowledge.

Doctoral students in the Cooperative Doctoral Programme work on their topics in cooperation with companies, within the institutional framework of the higher education doctoral schools. The Ministry of Innovation and Technology is the professional coordinator and managing body of the programme. The Managing Body of the call is the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NRDIO)."

At the University of Pannonia, a total of 3 students have been awarded grants under the KDP-2020 in the following host doctoral schools. All students are supported in their studies and research by a doctoral supervisor and an external company expert. Every six months they report on their progress, which is assessed by the Cooperative Doctoral College. After the period supported by the fellowship, students must obtain their degree within 1 year. The programme is expected to end on 31 August 2026.
